- Transferring firearms after premature removal from your own firearms license.
- Secure storage until the legal situation is clarified.
- Temporary loss of your firearms license.

- Notification of the transfer to the National Weapons Register (NWR).
- Written confirmation of the transfer to the transferor.
- Documentation of the condition.
- Cleaning and preservation of the firearm(s) before storage.
- Notification of the transfer of the firearm(s) to the NWR.

Please note that in the case of a transfer for storage, the ownership rights are transferred in accordance with the Weapons Act (exercise of actual control), but you remain the legal owner of the firearm(s) (retention of title).
