In addition to an 24-inch octagonal barrel, this classic lever-action rifle features a color-case-hardened receiver, a locking safety, and an adjustable rear sight. The trigger mechanism has been professionally reworked. The lever now operates more smoothly, and the trigger pull has been reduced. Consequently, this firearm is ideally suited for sport shooters.
