A beautiful, historic Drilling (three-barreled combination gun) rifle from the renowned Sempert & Krieghoff gun factory in Suhl. Manufactured in August 1939, first overhauled in May 1971, and completely refurbished in April 1997. The barrels were reblued without removing the markings, the rifle was resealed, the stock was reworked, and the rifle barrel was reamed from 8x57JR to 8x57JRS. The chambers of the shotgun barrels, originally 16/65 gauge, were also reamed to 16/70. All work was carried out to the highest professional standards and subsequently inspected and approved by the proof house. The drilling features a separate rifle cocking mechanism with signal pins, a side safety, a set trigger, and a robust steel receiver. The trigger guard is made of horn. The barrels are in excellent condition. A Zeiss Diatal-D 6x42 reticle 8 scope is mounted on an ERA swing mount.
